SCHEDULE 4Regulations relating to meat hygiene, etc.: consequential provisions

Part VIIConsequential modifications to the Minced Meat and Meat Preparations (Hygiene) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997

1.  In regulation 2(1)—

(a)before the definition of “approval authority” there shall be inserted the following definition—

“the Agency” means the Food Standards Agency;;

(b)in the definition of “approval authority” for “the Department” there shall be substituted “the Agency”; and

(c)the definition of “the Department” shall be omitted.
