Game Birds Preservation Order (Northern Ireland) 2000

The Minister of the Environment(1), being satisfied that it is necessary to provide special protection for grouse, partridge, red-legged partridges and hen pheasants:

(a)

in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 7C(1) and 7F(1) to (3) of the Game Preservation Act (Northern Ireland) 1928(2) (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) and paragraph 10(1) of Schedule 12 to the Northern Ireland Act 1998(3) and of every other power enabling him in that behalf; and

(b)

after publishing, pursuant to section 7F(5) of the Act, notice of proposal to make this Order and of the purport thereof, and not having received any objection to the said proposal,

hereby makes the following Order:
