Motor Hackney Carriage (Newry) (Amendment) Bye-Laws (Northern Ireland) 2000

Citation and commencement

1.  These Bye-Laws may be cited as the Motor Hackney Carriage (Newry) (Amendment) Bye-Laws (Northern Ireland) 2000 and shall come into operation on 7th July 2000.

Bye-Laws amended

2.  For the Schedule to the Bye-Laws made in respect of Motor Hackney Carriages standing or plying for hire by the Urban District Council of Newry on 8th April 1968 and confirmed by the Ministry of Home Affairs on 25th April 1968(1) there shall be substituted—

Merchants QuayEast Side: from a point approximately 15 metres south of Needham Bridge to a point approximately 39 metres south of that bridge. Motor hackney carriages to face north.4

Revocation

3.  The Motor Hackney Carriage (Newry) (Amendment) Bye-Laws (Northern Ireland) 1983(2) are hereby revoked.
