This Order revokes the Food (Animal Products from Belgium) (Emergency Control) Order (Northern Ireland) 2000 (S.R. 2000 No. 72—“the revoked Order”) and implements, in relation to food, Commission Decision 2000/301/EC repealing the protective measures with regard to contamination by dioxins of certain products of porcine and poultry origin intended for human or animal consumption (O.J. No. L97, 19.4.2000, p. 16). (The protective measures concerned were contained in Commission Decision 1999/788/EC (O.J. No. L310, 4.12.1999, p. 62) as amended by Commission Decision 2000/150/EC (O.J. No. L50, 23.2.2000, p. 25) and were implemented, in relation to food, by the revoked Order).
