22.—(1) The Committee may make arrangements with any district council, area board or public body for the exercise of any superannuation function by the Committee on behalf of the district council, area board or public body on such terms as may be provided for by the arrangements.
(2) For the purposes of this paragraph, “area board” means an Education and Library Board established under Article 3 of the Education and Libraries (Northern Ireland) Order 1986(1) or a Health and Social Services Board established under Article 16 of the Health and Personal Social Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1972(2).
