1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Children (1995 Order) (Commencement No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 2000.
(2) In this Order, “the Order” means the Children (Northern Ireland) Order 1995.
2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of—
(a)Article 176 of the Order (children accommodated in schools)—
(i)for the purpose only of authorising the making of regulations, is 15th May 2000, and
(ii)for all other purposes, is 4th September 2000; and
(b)Article 149(1)(i) (inspection of schools providing accommodation) and Article 178 (search warrants) in so far as it relates to Article 176, is 4th September 2000.
