1. These Regulations may be cited as the Statutory Maternity Pay (Compensation of Employers) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999 and shall come into operation on 6th April 1999.
2. In regulation 3 of the Statutory Maternity Pay (Compensation of Employers) and Miscellaneous Amendment Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1994(1) (amount of additional payment to which a small employer shall be entitled)—
(a)for “6th April 1998” there shall be substituted “6th April 1999”;
(b)for “7 per cent.” there shall be substituted “5 per cent.”.
3. The Statutory Maternity Pay (Compensation of Employers) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1998(2) are hereby revoked.
