Citation and commencement1
These Regulations may be cited as the Gaming (Bingo (Amendment) and Gaming Machine (Registered Clubs)) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999 and shall come into operation on 19th February 1999.
Amendment of the Gaming (Bingo) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 19872
In regulation 2(1)(b) and (c) of the Gaming (Bingo) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 19872 for “£8 (exclusive of value added tax)” there shall be substituted “£8.50 (exclusive of value added tax)”.
Maximum prize in respect of any one game played by means of a gaming machine in a registered club3
For the purposes of Article 106(5) of the Betting, Gaming, Lotteries and Amusements (Northern Ireland) Order 1985 (use of gaming machines in registered clubs) the prescribed amount is £250.
Revocation4
The Gaming (Bingo) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 19963 are hereby revoked.
