SCHEDULE 2

Part I Repeals coming into Operation on 1st December 1999

The repeals specified in the following Parts in Schedule 9 to the 1999 Order shall come into operation on 1st December 1999, subject to any exceptions specified in this Part, that is to say—

3.  Agreement to exclude dismissal rights;

4.  Power to confer rights on individuals;

5.  The Agency: general duty;

9.  Employment outside Northern Ireland;

10.  Articles 32 to 35

(except the following repeals of provisions of the 1996 Order)—

• Articles 23(2) to (4);

• Article 154(2);

• Article 158(2);

• Article 231(2);

• in Article 251(3)(a) the words “23(2)” and “154(2), 158(2), 159(7), 231(2)”.

11.  Compensatory Award: removal of limit in certain cases.

Part II Repeals coming into Operation on 15th December 1999

The repeals specified in the following Parts in Schedule 9 to the 1999 Order shall come into operation on 15th December 1999, that is to say—

2.  Leave for family reasons, etc;

6.  Commissioners;

7.  The Certification Officer.
