This Order provides for the coming into operation on 6th September 1999 of provisions of the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Order 1998 in so far as they relate to retirement pension, widow’s benefit, incapacity benefit, severe disablement allowance and maternity allowance.
The Order also makes savings, consequential and transitional provisions.
