The Department of Education, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 7(1)(b), (2)(a)(ii), (6) and (7) of the Education Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 1989(1) and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

S.I. 1989/2406 (N.I. 20); Article 7(2) was amended by S.I. 1996/274 (N.I. 1) Article 35(2); Article 7(6) was substituted, and Article 7(7) was inserted, by Article 10 of S.I. 1998/1759 (N.I. 13) and Schedule 2 was substituted by Article 35(1) of, and Schedule 3 to, S.I. 1996/274 (N.I. 1) and amended by S.R. 1996 No. 328 and S.R. 1998 No. 117
