The area marked B in the diagram may be coloured white, in which case it shall be reflectorised to Class 1 of British Standard Specification BS 873: Part 6 or an equivalent standard which has been approved by a recognised standardising body in an EEA State. If the area marked B is not coloured white it shall be of the same colour as the background specified in note 4.
