Substitution of regulation 125 of the principal Regulations

19.  For regulation 125 of the principal Regulations (modification of section 128(4) of the Act) there shall be substituted the following regulation—

“Modification of section 142(5) of the Social Security Administration (Northern Ireland) Act 1992

125.  In section 142 of the Social Security Administration (Northern Ireland) Act 1992(1) (destination of contributions), subsection (5)(2) (meaning of “the appropriate health service allocation”) shall be modified, in the case of contributions paid at the rate reduced in accordance with regulation 87(1) of these Regulations, as if, instead of the percentage figure specified in paragraph (b) of that subsection, there were the percentage figure “0.6”.”.

Subsection (5) was amended by Article 4(1) of the Social Security (Contributions) (Northern Ireland) Order 1994 (S.I. 1994/765 (N.I. 4)) and is amended by Article 61(2) of, and paragraph 77(3) of Schedule 6 to, the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Order 1998 (S.I. 1998/1506 (N.I. 10))
