1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Dental Charges (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1999 immediately after the coming into operation of the Health Services (Pilot Schemes: Dental Charges) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999(1).
(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations” means the Dental Charges Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1989(2).
2. In regulation 4(5) of the principal Regulations (calculation of charges) for “£340·00” there shall be substituted “£348·00”.
3. Regulation 2 of the Dental Charges (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1998(3)is hereby revoked.
4. The amendment made by regulation 2 applies only in relation to the supply of any dental appliances or the provision of other dental services in pursuance of a contract or arrangement for the provision of general dental services, or services under a pilot scheme, made on or after 1st April 1999.
