1. These Regulations may be cited as the Public Service Vehicles (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1998 and shall come into operation on 20th April 1998.
2.—(1) The Public Service Vehicles Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1985(1) shall be amended as provided in paragraphs (2) and (3).
(2) In regulation 10 (refund of fees), in paragraph (2), in the definition of “exceptional circumstances”, the words “an epidemic, severe weather,” shall be omitted.
(3) In Schedule 7 (fees for vehicle licences)(2), in paragraphs 1(b) and 2(b), for “£35·00”, in each place where that figure occurs, there shall be substituted “£45·00”.
3. Regulation 2(4) of the Public Service Vehicles (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1995(3) is hereby revoked.
