ROAD TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES

The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(2) of the Road Traffic (New Drivers) (Northern Ireland) Order 1998(1) and paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 1 to the Northern Ireland Act 1974(2) and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (New Drivers) (1998 Order) (Commencement) Order (Northern Ireland) 1998.
2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of the Road Traffic (New Drivers) (Northern Ireland) Order 1998 shall be 14th December 1998.

This Order brings into operation on 14th December 1998 all the provisions of the Road Traffic (New Drivers) (Northern Ireland) Order 1998.
