Repeals, revocations and amendments
12.—(1) (a) Sections 22 to 25, 33 to 35 and 70 of the Mines Act (Northern Ireland) 1969 are hereby repealed; and
(b)regulations 4 and 7 of the Mines (Emergency Egress) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1975(1) are hereby revoked.
(2) In the Mines Act (Northern Ireland) 1969 and in Regulations made under that Act or in health and safety regulations any reference to that Act shall be treated as including a reference to these Regulations.
(3) The provisions specified in the Schedule shall be amended in accordance with that Schedule.
