Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Regulations.)
These regulations amend the Education (Special Educational Needs) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997 and, subject to exceptions, require Education and Library Boards, when making an assessment and statement, to serve on the child’s parent a copy of the proposed statement within a prescribed time limit of 18 weeks.
