NOW THEREFORE the Department, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 104(1)(c) of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981(1) and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Parking Places on Roads (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 1997 and shall come into operation on 3rd March 1997.
Amendment
2. The Parking Places on Roads Order (Northern Ireland) 1993(2) shall be amended by—
(a)the addition to Schedule 1 to that Order of the items in Schedule 1;
(b)the deletion from Schedule 1 to that Order of the items in Schedule 2.
