Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Regulations.)

These regulations specify the manner in which a notice of application for the grant of registration of a club must be displayed at the premises for which the grant is sought.

Regulation 2 requires that notice of that application is displayed at or near the principal entrance to those premises, and outside, on a notice board where practicable, but in any case, where it can readily be seen and conveniently be read by the public.

These regulations revoke the Registration of Clubs (Display of Notice) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1988.
