Part III Dangerous Occurrences which are Reportable in Relation to Quarries

Movement of slopes or faces

46.  Any movement or failure of an excavated slope or face which—

(a) has the potential to cause the death of any person; or

(b) adversely affects any building, contiguous land, transport system, footpath, public utility or service, watercourse or reservoir or area of public access.
