Citation, commencement and application
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Fixed Penalty) Order (Northern Ireland) 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st October 1997.
(2) This Order applies in relation to a fixed penalty offence alleged to have been committed on or after 1st October 1997.
Amount of fixed penalty
2. The fixed penalty for an offence shown in column (1) of the Schedule to this Order shall be the amount shown opposite thereto in column (2).
