1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Companies (Forms) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997 and shall come into operation on 22nd August 1997.
(2) In these Regulations—
“the 1986 Order” means the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986; and
“the 1990 Regulations” means the Companies (Forms) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1990(1).
2. With effect from 22nd August 1997, form 233 in the Schedule, with such variations as circumstances require, is the form prescribed for the purposes of Article 233 of the 1986 Order, including that Article as applied by Article 650 of the 1986 Order.
3.—(1) With effect from 22nd August 1997, forms 233(1), 233(2), 650b and 650c in Schedule 2 to the 1990 Regulations are revoked, save that those forms may be used until 22nd August 1998 for those purposes of Article 233 of the 1986 Order (including that Article as applied by Article 650) which correspond to the purposes for which the forms were originally prescribed.
(2) With effect from 22nd May 1998, forms 232 and 650a in Schedule 2 to the 1990 Regulations are revoked.
