REGISTRATION OF CLUBS

The Department of Health and Social Services, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 33(10) of the Registration of Clubs (Northern Ireland) Order 1996(1) and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Registration of Clubs (Form of Children’s Certificate) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997 and shall come into operation on 20th February 1997.
2. A children’s certificate shall be in the form set out in the Schedule.

(This note is not part of the Regulations.)
These regulations prescribe the form of children’s certificate which is granted by a court in respect of any part of the premises of a registered club which contains a bar or is used exclusively or mainly for the supply, consumption or storage of intoxicating liquor. Children’s certificates may be granted under the Registration of Clubs (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 which came into operation on 20th February 1997.
