Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Statutory Maternity Pay (Compensation of Employers) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997 and shall come into operation on 6th April 1997.
Amendment of the Statutory Maternity Pay (Compensation of Employers) and Miscellaneous Amendment Regulations
2. In regulation 3 of the Statutory Maternity Pay (Compensation of Employers) and Miscellaneous Amendment Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1994(1) (amount of additional payment to which a small employer shall be entitled)—
(a)for “6th April 1996” there shall be substituted “6th April 1997”;
(b)for “5·5 per cent.” there shall be substituted “6·5 per cent.”.
Revocation
3. The Statutory Maternity Pay (Compensation of Employers) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1996(2) are hereby revoked.
