1. These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Contributions) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997 and shall come into operation on 6th April 1997.
2. In regulation 96(c) of the Social Security (Contributions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1979(1) (weekly rate of any Class 2 contributions payable by share fishermen) for “£7·20” there shall be substituted “£6·80”.
