28. In Article 11(1) of the Firearms (Northern Ireland) Order 1981(1) (Slaughter of animals) for the words “holding a licence under section 2 of the Slaughter of Animals Act (Northern Ireland) 1932” there shall be substituted the words “licensed under the Welfare of Animals (Slaughter or Killing) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1996 to slaughter solipeds, cattle, sheep, swine or goats”.
