Amendment of the relevant establishment orders

2.—(1) Each of the relevant establishment orders shall be amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3).

(2) In Part I of the Schedule—

(a)in the first column (Statutory Provision) there shall be added at the end the words “Children (Northern Ireland) Order 1995(1)”; and

(b)in the second column (Relevant Function) there shall be added at the end, opposite the reference to the Children (Northern Ireland) Order 1995, the words “All relevant functions”.

(3) In Part II of the Schedule—

(a)in the first column (Statutory Provision) there shall be added at the end the words “Children (Northern Ireland) Order 1995”;

(b)in the second column (Relevant Function) there shall be added at the end, opposite the reference to the Children (Northern Ireland) Order 1995, the words “Articles 21, 23, 26, 27, 32, 54, 66 and Schedule 3”; and

(c)in the second column (Relevant Function), in the entry relating to the Children and Young Persons Act (Northern Ireland) 1968(2), references to Part VII and sections 94(2), 105(3), 152, 154 to 159 and 164 shall cease to have effect.
