(This note is not part of the Order.)

This Order amends the provisions of the One-Way Traffic (Ballymena) Order (Northern Ireland) 1982.

The amendment provides for the introduction of a one-way system of traffic in—

a

Henry Street, from its junction with Queen Street to its junction with Gilmore Street; and

b

Queen Street, from its junction with Gilmore Street to its junction with Henry Street.

Any person who acts in contravention of the Order shall be guilty of an offence under the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale (£1,000).

Traffic signs indicating the effect of the Order will in due course be erected on the roads.
