Citation, commencement and interpretation
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Children (Allocation of Proceedings) Order (Northern Ireland) 1996 and shall come into operation on 4th November 1996.
(2) In this Order—
“the 1995 Order” means the Children (Northern Ireland) Order 1995; and
“petty sessions districts” means the petty sessions districts into which Northern Ireland is divided by order made by the Lord Chancellor under Article 11(2) of the Magistrates' Courts (Northern Ireland) Order 1981(1).
