Citation, commencement and revocation
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Legal Advice and Assistance (Prospective Cost) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1996 and shall come into operation on 10th June 1996.
(2) The Legal Advice and Assistance (Prospective Cost) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1992(1) are hereby revoked.
Financial limit on prospective cost of advice and assistance
2. For the limit of £86·50 specified in Article 6(2) of the Legal Aid, Advice and Assistance (Northern Ireland) Order 1981(2) there shall be substituted the limit of £88·00.
