Citation, commencement and interpretation
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Housing Renovation etc. Grants (Grant Limit) Order (Northern Ireland) 1996 and shall come into operation on 13th May 1996.
(2) In this Order “the 1992 Order” means the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1992.
Grant Limit
2. The maximum amount of grant which the Executive may pay in respect of an application for—
(a)renovation grant, disabled facilities grant and common parts grant specified in Article 39(2)(a)(b) and (c) of the 1992 Order is £20,000; and
(b)HMO grant specified in Article 39(2)(d) of the 1992 Order and replacement grant specified in Article 73 of the 1992 Order is £30,000.
Application
3. This Order shall not have effect in relation to an application for a grant made before this Order comes into force.
Revocation
4. The Housing Renovation etc. Grants (Grant Limit) Order (Northern Ireland) 1993(1) is hereby revoked.
