The Department of Economic Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 603A(2) and 603D(4) of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986(1) and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Companies (Forms) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1995 and shall come into operation on 16th November 1995.
2. Forms 603a and 603c in the Schedule, with such variations as circumstances require, are forms hereby prescribed for the purposes of Articles 603A(2) and 603D(4) of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986.

Regulation 2
(This note is not part of the Regulations.)
These Regulations prescribe two forms to be used for the purposes of the new provisions for the directors of a non-trading private company to apply to the registrar of companies for the company’s name to be struck off the register which are to be inserted into the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 by Article 13(2) of, and Schedule 6 to, the Deregulation and Contracting Out Act 1994 (c. 40). The forms will take effect on 16th November 1995. The forms are form 603a (application for striking off) and 603c (withdrawal of application for striking off).
