Increase in borrowing limit of Compensation Fund N.I.

2.—(1) In Schedule 2 to the Solicitors (Northern Ireland) Order 1976 (NI 12) (the Compensation Fund) in paragraph 4 (power of Law Society to borrow for purposes of the Fund subject to a limit of £100,000) for “£100,000” substitute “ £1 million or such other amount as the Department of Finance and Personnel may by order subject to negative resolution specify ”.
