45. The Chief Constable may, with the approval of the Police Authority, make arrangements with the Department for the employment of traffic wardens—
(a)as parking attendants under Article 25 at any parking place provided or controlled by the Department;
(b)to enforce limited waiting restrictions imposed by traffic regulation orders,
and for the payment to the Police Authority of such sums as will make good to the Police Authority any expenditure incurred or likely to be incurred by the Police Authority in relation to traffic wardens while so employed.
