2.—(1) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954(1) shall apply to Article 1 and the following provisions of this Order as it applies to a Measure of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
(2) In this Order—
“the Department” means the Department of the Environment;
“the principal Order” means the Water and Sewerage Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1973(2).
(3) Expressions used in this Order and in the principal Order have the same meaning in this Order as in the principal Order.
