The [1954 c. 33 (N.I.)] Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 shall apply to Article 1 and the following provisions of this Order as it applies to a Measure of the Northern Ireland Assembly.

In this Order—

  • “the 1970 Act” means the [1970 c. 18 (N.I.)] Land Registration Act (Northern Ireland) 1970;

  • “the Deeds Act” means the [1970 c. 25 (N.I.)] Registration of Deeds Act (Northern Ireland) 1970;

  • “the Department” means the Department of the Environment.

Part II shall be construed as one with the 1970 Act.

Part III shall be construed as one with the Deeds Act.
