2. The payments referred to in paragraph 1(a) are contributions which became payable before 10th November 1976—N.I.
(a)by way of exchequer contributions under section 1 of the Housing Act (Northern Ireland) 1945F1 as applied to housing associations by virtue of section 12 of the Housing and Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (Northern Ireland) 1946F2;
(b)by way of exchequer contributions under section 15 of the Housing Act (Northern Ireland) 1963F3 (contributions for hostels).
