Title and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the Statistics (Confidentiality) (Northern Ireland) Order 1991.

This Order shall come into operation on the expiration of 2 months from the day on which it is made.
Interpretation2
The [1954 c. 33 (N.I.)] Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 shall apply to Article 1 and the following provisions of this Order as it applies to a Measure of the Northern Ireland Assembly.

In Article 7(1) of the [1988 NI 3] Statistics of Trade and Employment(Northern Ireland) Order 1988 (restriction on disclosure of information), after sub-paragraph (a)(iv) there shall be inserted—
v
to any person who provides, or is employed in the provision of, services to that Northern Ireland department;
