SCHEDULE 9REPEALS

The repeal in section 1(1) of the principal Act and the repeal of sections 1(5) and (5A) and 128(3) of that Act, Article 29(6) of the Pensions Order, Article 4(2) of the Social Security (Contributions) (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 and Article 4 of the Social Security (Contributions) (Northern Ireland) Order 1982 have effect in relation to payments by way of supplement, or adjustment of supplement, under section 1(5) of the principal Act in respect of any contributions whether paid before, on or after 31st March 1989.

The repeal in section 20(1A) of the principal Act does not affect the continuing operation of the Unemployment Benefit (Disqualification Period) Order (Northern Ireland) 1988.
