NORTHERN IRELAND

This Order makes provision under the law of Northern Ireland to enable powers of attorney to be created which will survive any subsequent mental incapacity of the donor. The Order sets out the circumstances in which instruments creating such powers of attorney are to be registered in the High Court and indicates the scope of an attorney’s authority under such a power.
