Revocation of licences

The council may, after giving the holder of a licence under this Schedule an opportunity of appearing before and being heard by it, at any time revoke the licence—
a
on any ground specified in sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 12; or
b
on either of the grounds specified in sub-paragraph (3)(a) and (b) of that paragraph.

Where a licence is revoked, the council shall, if required to do so by the person who held it, give him a statement in writing of the reasons for its decision within 7 days of his requiring it to do so.

Where a licence is revoked, its holder shall be disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence in the district of the council for a period of 12 months, beginning with the date of revocation.
