the transition to the provisions of this Order from the law in force before the commencement of this Order;

the preservation for limited purposes of certain provisions superseded by provisions of this Order; and

the assimilation in certain respects to orders under this Order of orders made, or deemed to have been made, under the Matrimonial Causes Act (Northern Ireland) 1939 [1939 c.13] or the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (Northern Ireland) 1951 [1951 c.7] .
