Penalty for personating another, etc., for purpose of providing blood sampleN.I.

12.  If, for the purpose of providing a[F1 bodily sample] for a test required to give effect to a direction under Article 8, any person personates another, or proffers a child knowing that it is not the child named in the direction, he shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable—

(a)on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to a fine, or to both;

(b)on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding[F2 level 5 on the standard scale].
