The Children (Northern Ireland) Order 1995 N.I.

42.  In Article 179 (effect and duration of orders, etc.), after paragraph (5) insert— N.I.

“(5A) The making of a special guardianship order with respect to a child who is the subject of—

(a) a care order; or

(b) an order under Article 53,

discharges that order.”.
