The Department must issue guidance to the Chief Constable in relation to the exercise of the powers of the Chief Constable under this Schedule.

The Department may, from time to time, revise the guidance issued under sub-paragraph (1).

The Department must arrange for any guidance issued or revised under this paragraph to be published in a way the Department considers appropriate.
