Schedule 2 to the Act provides a power for the Crown Court to impose a slavery and trafficking reparation order under which an offender convicted of a slavery-like or human trafficking offence would be required to pay reparation to his or her victim. Paragraph 1 sets out the circumstances in which a slavery and trafficking reparation order may be made and sub-paragraph (7) places a duty on the court consider whether to make such an order where it has the power to do so and to give reasons where it has determined not to do so.
Paragraphs 2 and 3 of Schedule 2 set out the effect of a reparation order and make supplementary provision, including in respect of variations and appeals.
