118Persons ceasing to hold office

A person who ceases to hold any office under this Act is, unless the person is not qualified or is disqualified, eligible to hold that office again.

In subsection (1) “office” includes a position of responsibility.

Subsection (1) does not apply if the person is not qualified or is disqualified to be elected or to be a councillor.
119Validity of acts done by unqualified person

The validity of anything done by the holder of an office under this Act is not affected by that person not being qualified or being disqualified to be elected or to be a councillor.
