2. In section 2 of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965(1) (registration of society) after subsection (2) insert—
“(2A) In the case of an application for registration of a society which is made by electronic means, the reference in subsection (1)(b) or (2) to two copies of the society’s rules is to be read as being to a single copy of those rules.”.
