Provisions of Act brought into force by this Order
2.—(1) Section 126 and, insofar as it is not yet in force, section 127 of the Act shall come into force on Ist July 1991 subject, in the case of section 126, to the transitional provisions set out in article 3 below.
(2) Part VII of the Act shall come into force on 25th March 1991 insofar as is necessary to enable regulations to be made under the following provisions of that Part:
Section 155(4) and (5)
Section 158(4) and (5)
Section 160(5)
Section 173(4) and (5)
Section 174(2) to (4)
Sections 185 and 186
Section 187(3)
Paragraph 2(3) of Schedule 21.
(3) Insofar as it is not yet in force, section 193 of the Act shall come into force on 1st April 1991 subject to the saving provision in article 4 below.
(4) In Part X of the 1989 Act, the repeals effected by Schedule 24 of sections 712 and 715 of the Companies Act 1985(1), together with section 212 so far as relating to those repeals, shall come into force on Ist July 1991.
